Process of Change

As you may have been shown, Da Capo Inventory is a powerful software suite that has a growing list of functions that are available to you and your staff.  My vision in creating this software was to make teacher’s lives easier as they complete some of their daily ‘office-based’ tasks and try to keep track of their vast inventory of musical instruments.  To that end, school district administrators can appreciate the benefits of the program as it helps teachers to maintain accurate records [Charlotte Danielson 4B: Professional Responsibilities – Maintaining Accurate Records] in their program.

The process of change and the addition of new systems to a department can present its challenges.  Even when teachers find the status quo lacking, they may still fear the alternative.  While Da Capo Inventory is a large program with many in-depth features, the basics of renting instruments to students, printing rental contracts, and marking rentals as paid are three relatively easy goals to achieve.  I suggest using some form of the outline below to implement adoption of Da Capo Inventory in your district.
