The search bar at the very top of each webpage on the site allows you to search through all of your data with immediacy. If you search for an item which only produces one result, you will be brought to the details page of that particular item. For example, if you search for a student’s last name, and there is only one student with that last name, you’ll be brought to that student detail page. If you scan the barcode of an instrument or library item, you’ll be brought directly to that item detail page.
If your search provides more than one result, you will most likely see those results in the resulting search page.
